T-Minus About 16 Days

Hey everyone, my name is Brittany. Some of you may know me from South Parkism, and if you don't, you should!

If you don't know me from South Parkism, I'm not going to say much about myself. The only thing that you need to know is that my parents have done the ultimate evil and wrong thing you could do to a teenager- they're moving me to Texas, approximately 1700 miles from New York, where I live now.

Sure, everyone leaves home at some point in their lives, but this is serious. The first thing is that I have to leave my best friends, most of which I've known since elementary school. The second thing is that I've never really liked the hot weather. I've always been more of a cold weather person.

So today I packed most of what was on my shelves in my room:

-books
-DVDs
-CDs
-[most of] my trophies.

I think now that I'm actually seeing boxes on the floor of my room filled with stuff, the move is actually hitting me. Before, it was all talk and I saw no boxes, so it didn't really sink in. Now it does, and it's killing me.

I had a nightmare last night about how no one will like me at my new school. Everyone was saying things like, "Ew. It's that weird and ugly new girl from New York. Look at her, she's just...ughh."

Thank god that won't actually happen till my first day of school, August 25th.

Here are my plans so far-

This Sunday, I'm going to Texas because I already bought tickets to a Jonas Brothers concert [AHHHHH!!!! Yes, I'm a MAJOR JoBro fan :D ] and I thought we'd already be down there. Well the house isn't ready yet and so we're staying here until the 19th or so.

Anyway, then Saturday the 12th I'm flying back up to New York to help my mother pack while my brother and father are away at a Boy Scout Camp [this was booked long before we knew we were moving] . Then, later that week [on or about the 19th] my mother, my dog, and my fish and I will be driving down.

But I won't be staying in Texas for long. Once again, my mother booked me for summer camp in Pennsylvania the last week of July/the first week in August. Just that one week. Originally it was going to be two weeks, but then we found out we were moving and so we cut it down to one week.

So it seems I'll be all over the country this summer. I'll keep you all updated, in case you care.

you know you love me,
Forever a New Yorker <3

[sorry...I've been reading WAYY too much Gossip Girl]
